Services Overview

My Ali Travels is a travel agency operated by Alicean Harwood, providing personalized travel planning and booking services. We act as an intermediary between you and various travel suppliers including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and other service providers.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book travel with us. By making a booking, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have authority to accept these terms for everyone in your party.

How We Are Paid

For most trips, including cruises, all-inclusive resorts, and packaged vacations, our planning services are free to you. We are paid a commission by the resorts, cruise lines, and suppliers you book through, which does not increase your price.

Custom itineraries, such as multi-stop travel through Europe, involve research and coordination that suppliers do not compensate. These may carry a planning fee. We will always tell you the amount and get your agreement before any fee applies.

Communications

When you submit a form on our website, you agree that we may contact you by email or phone about your request. This includes replying to your inquiry, sending quotes, and following up about your trip. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any message or emailing us directly.

Host Agency Partnership

My Ali Travels operates in partnership with Gateway Travel, a licensed and bonded host travel agency. This partnership enables us to offer you access to preferred supplier relationships, competitive pricing, and the backing of an established travel agency network. All bookings are processed through Gateway Travel's systems and are subject to their policies and protections in addition to those outlined here.

Booking and Reservations

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the booking process is accurate and complete. This includes names (as they appear on travel documents), dates of birth, contact information, and any special requirements.

Pricing and Payments

Travel Documents

Cancellations and Changes

By Suppliers

Travel suppliers may occasionally need to make changes or cancellations due to circumstances beyond their control. In such cases, we will work with you to find suitable alternatives or process refunds according to the supplier's policies.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances including trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and travel delays. We can provide recommendations for travel insurance providers upon request.

Our Role and Liability

As a travel agent, we act as an intermediary between you and travel suppliers. We are not the provider of travel services and are not liable for:

• •Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes by airlines, cruise lines, or other carriers
• •Loss, damage, or injury arising from travel services
• •Force majeure events including natural disasters, pandemics, or civil unrest
• •Your failure to obtain proper travel documents or insurance
• •Hotels, resorts, or accommodations that do not meet your personal expectations or preferences
• •Excursions, tours, or activities that differ from descriptions provided by third-party operators
• •Changes to resort amenities, dining options, room assignments, or facility availability made by the property
• •Differences between promotional photos, descriptions, or reviews and actual conditions at properties
• •Construction, renovations, or maintenance at hotels or resorts during your stay

While we strive to provide accurate information based on supplier-provided details, photos, descriptions, and amenities are subject to change without notice by the properties themselves. We recommend reviewing current property information and recent guest reviews before finalizing your booking.

Our website publishes restaurant schedules, menus, and resort details supplied by third parties. This information changes frequently and without notice, and we cannot guarantee it is current or complete at the time you view it. Confirm anything you are planning around directly with the property.

Our liability is limited to the fees charged for our services, not the total cost of your travel arrangements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost enjoyment of a trip, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
